The Chef
Aubergine has held both a Michelin star and four AA Rosettes for over ten years at Park Walk, Chelsea. Christophe Renou is now Head Chef at Aubergine in Chelsea.
In July 1998 Gordon Ramsay left the acclaimed Aubergine Restaurant in London's exclusive Chelsea. William Drabble then took the helm and retained the Michelin star and four AA Rosettes for over 10 years until Miles Nixon took over the helm as Executive Chef earlier this year.
Miles Nixon's passion and creativity and his complete respect of seasonality and the finest ingredients is continually evident in his menus. His dishes continue to awe the restaurant industry and equally delight guests.
Christophe Renou, born in Le Mans in the Loire Valley, first came to Aubergine in 2003 and originally trained under William Drabble. After a spell working at the 2 Michelin star L'Auberge du Vieux Puits in Les Corbieres under Gilles Goujon, he became Miles Nixon's Sous-Chef at Aubergine at the Compleat Angler in Marlow in 2008 and was appointed Head Chef at Aubergine Chelsea in 2009.
